Where a =1, b= -5, c= 4

X = -b( +,-) √b^2-4ac/ 2a

X = -(-5)( +,-)√(-5)^2-4(1)(4) / 2(1)

X= 5 ( +,-)√25-16 /2

X= 5 ( +,-)√9/2

X = 5+3/2 or X =5 -3/2

X = 13/2 or X =7/2
