Brazilians are largely influenced by the Portuguese because Brazil is the only country that uses Portuguese in the Americas. Even though all other countries were once conquered by Spain, Brazil was a colony of Portugal. Brazil is also a strong believer in Roman-Catholic, a main religion of Portugal.
