The Hellenistic Age was the period of time between the Death of Alexander the Great and the emergence of the Roman Empire. In this period, which lasted between 323 BC and 31 BC, the Greek civilization achieved its peak, influencing vast extensions of territory which included Europe, North Africa and Western Asia with their knowledge and developments, which extended to the fields of literature, art, science, philosophy, and music.
