C. 6 because you find the range by subtracting the lowest number from the highest number in a set of data and 4 is your highest number and -2 is the lowest number and your supposed to do 4 - -2 which equals 6

The range is the highest value minus the smallest value

Therefore, you just need to subtract the two values to find the values:

-2 - 4 = -6

The difference is just 6, so your answer is C. 6
