There are 34 students in J2.

(14)/(17)
of the students vote to choose Jisoo as their class monitor. However, there are 2 students from the class do not vote and the rest of the students vote to choose Rowan as their class monitor. So, how many students vote to choose Rowan as their class monitor?

Number of students voting to Jisoo,

34 × 14 / 17 = 28

No. of students who did not vote = 2

No. of students voting to Rowan = 34 - 28 - 2 = 4 students

4 students choose Rowan as their class monitor.
