One of the main reasons for the rise of tyranny in Germany was the harsh impositions that the country received after its defeat in the First World War, with the establishment of the Versailles Treaty. These impositions disorganized the entire political, military and economic structure of Germany. This caused the German people to have serious problems, placing their faith in any heavy and reactionary policies that stimulated tyranny.

As a result, Nazism rose in Germany, which culminated in World War II and caused more problems for Germany that lost the war again.
