Explanation:

∵ A = (-4 , 4) and B = (2 , 1)


AB=\sqrt{(x2-x1)^(2)+(y2-y1)^(2)}

∵ AB =
\sqrt{(2 - -4)^(2)+(1 - 4)^(2)}=√(36+9)=√(45)=6.71

∴ AB = 6.71 ≅ 6.7 units
