The cause of the battle has rallied Octavius' feelings of anger. The determination of avenging the death of Julius Caesar is his reason "to draw a sword against conspirators". Antony appears to keep a cold blooded mood whereas Octavius's desire to fight in the field is evident. The tone of this passage is scornful.
