A) 6 inches. ( if the equation for the area of a triangle is


(base * height)/(2) = area

, insert 18 for area. also, since the base and height are the same length, substitute base x height for side ^2. then solve for side.

B) 4 and 9, 3 and 12, 18 and 2, and 36 and 1. (solve for all possible b×h)
