Why is the alignment/arrangement of the sun, Earth, and moon, important to tides?
Alignment of the sun, earth, & moon are important because the moon moves farther each day as it moves round the earth. & the tides caused by the moon, move after about an hour after the tides that are caused by the suns gravity.
