The protests in Kyrgyzstan resulted in the 2010 Kyrgyz Revolution (also known as the Second Kyrgyz Revolution or the April Events). This revolution resulted in the overthrow of the head government official (President), the putting in place of a Parliamentary Republic, and a democratic voting system.
