HOW AND WHY CAN ICE IMPACT THE RATE OF EROSION????

PLEASE ANSWER BOTH HOW AND WHY!!!

It could increase the rate of erosion due to it's glacier and thawing process.

As ice has a higher volume than water, when the watee seeps into the cracks and undergoes glacier process when the temperature is low, water inside pores and fractures expand and further enlarge the cracks.
