ATP is much better in the transfer of energy from one form to another in the cell.

ATP is the adenosine triphosphate molecule and known to be as the energy currency of living cells.
All the animals need energy for their survival like reproduction, growth, and movement.
The energy present in living cells is in form of ATP.
We eat food for energy. Energy from the food is converted and stored in form of ATP in the cell. As the cell needs energy these ATPs are broken down into ADP to give energy to the cell.
