The measure of the larger angle = 100°

Explanation:

∵ The measure of the supplementary angles = 180°

∵ The ratio between them is 4 : 5

Let the smaller is 4x and the larger is 5x

∴ 4x + 5x = 180

∴ 9x = 180°

∴ x = 180 ÷ 9 = 20

∴ The measure of the larger angle = 5 × 20 = 100°
