A document is a written representation of information. A procedural document is a a physical document that explains the procedure of something. The fundamental characteristic of a procedural document is that it represents an action. Procedural information is often presented graphically, because is easier for the brain to analyze and follow instructions while watching images than reading letters. It is more efficient.
