A metaphor that is clearly identified in Oedipus the King, sight versus blindness. For example, Tiresias is blind, however he can see the truth everywhete. On the other hand, Oedipus, who has no physical impediment to see, seems to be blind towards his destiny. When Oedypus finally sees the truth he blinds
