The answer is going to be 4.5%

Based on this question, we know that Diego measured the length of a pen which were to be 22cm so that we would get the actual length of the pen that is 23cm.

So what we need to do is do the percentage//which is decreasing

(22-22)/22x100

=1/22x100

=4.5%, therefore the percent error for Diego’s measurement is 4.5% because what we did was find the percentage decrease by multiplying 100 by 22 minus 22 over 22.
