Impressionist painting is basically a loose brush, stroked sketchy lined, and blotched colors that composite together to generate the feeling of impression generally trying to create the feeling of movement. It differs from realism painting because, realistic painting tries to portray life w/ out glamorizing it. Shown to show the ways of how people make a living revolving the focus around livestock, farm, workers, middle class and other ordinary activities. <<< I hope that helped !!!
