We are to find the equation of the line of best fit.

On the x axis is marked minutes played and y axis points scored.

To find the equation of the regression line we must have atleast two points lying on it.

We find that two points lying on it are (30,21) and (8,6)

Slope of the line = change in y / change in x

(21-6)/(30-8) =(15)/(22)

Using point slope formula we find that


y-6 =(15)/(22) (x-8)\\y = (15)/(22) x-(120)/(22) +6\\=(15)/(22) x+(12)/(22) \\y=(15)/(22) x+(6)/(11)
