Answer: 11.2 inches

Work Shown:

(real height)/(scale height) = (real length)/(scale length)

(10 feet)/(8 inches) = (14 feet)/(x inches)

10/8 = 14/x

10x = 8*14

10x = 112

x = 112/10

x = 11.2 inches
