Using cross products

A a/3 = 2/b

Using cross products

ab = 6

They are equal

b (a-2)/2 = (3-b)/b

Using cross products

(a-2)b = 2(3-b)

Distrbute

ab -2b = 6-2b

Add 2b to each side

ab-2b+2b = 6-2b+2b

ab =6

They are equal
