I believe the answer is B. peaceful boycotts, sit-ins, and marches.

I'd consider A also but militant-like activity wasn't encouraged like just the idea of standing up was.

Civil disobedience is also known as passive resistance, or refusing government commands without appealing to violence or energetic hostility, with the purpose of compel a government compromise.

Thereby the most suitable option is clearly (B) "peaceful boycotts, sit-ins, and marches"

Although writing letters to state representatives denouncing unfair laws could also be considered.
