Answer:

Al Qaeda is a paramilitary, jihadist organization that employs terrorist practices and poses as an Islamist resistance movement around the world, while it is commonly referred to as an international terrorist network. Its founder, leader and major collaborator was Osama bin Laden (1957-2011), a billionaire of Saudi origin who studied Religion and Economic Sciences at King Abdul Aziz University. Ayman al Zawahiri succeeded him as the sole head of the organization, whose main objective is to create a new world order through jihad.
