For this case we have that if the chef did
\frac {3} {4}of a recipe and use 20 cups of milk then the given equation, to show the number of cups of milk with the full recipe, is wrong. To demonstrate we make a rule of three:

20 -------------->
\frac {3} {4}

x ----------------> 1

Where "x" represents the number of cups of milk for the full recipe.

x = \frac {1 * 20} {\frac {3} {4}}\\x = \frac {4 * 20} {3}

So:

3x = 4 * 20\\\frac {3} {4} x = 20

Answer:

\frac {3} {4} x = 20
