Contextual discrimination is often used to make the perception that discrimination does not exist in the broader range, but it still is if we pay attention to specific details.

For example, compared to the majorities, criminals that came from minority background are much more likely to receive death penalty. Even though technically the treatment that they receive in jail is typically similar.
