Which is the most important role of the Nile river and development of Egyptian civilization

it didnt rain in egypt so the nile was the only water source hence becoming a life force for the entire state. Ancient Egyptions would treat the nile like it was a god and when it over flowed and watered their plants it was a huge celebration. It would flow through out inrigation systems and helped build their civilization.

The river Nile provided Egyptian civilization with fertile land. The river helped civilization by making it flourish by providing drinking water, trade, and fertile land for cultivation. By establishing near the river, Egyptians had a supply of fish and crops which helped the civilization to emerge as powerful in economically, socially, politically and military.
