Answer: Diffusion.

Two protein categories assist the movement of molecules from higher concentration to lower concentration; carrier protein and channel protein.

Small molecules and ions pass through protein channel and large molecules such as amino acids and sugars pass through protein carrier.

Photosynthesis

Photosynthesis is a chemical process used by plants to make food (glucose). It happens in parts of plants when chloroplast is present abundantly. Plants use CO2, water, and sunlight to make their food.

CO2+ H2O+ sunlight → C6H12O6+ 6O2+ 6H2O
