D) Proteins (B) are being formed from the process of translation (C), in which mRNA carries the DNA code to the ribosome for protein synthesis.

The answer is;

  • B is protein
  • C is the process of translation

A is RNA. The RNA is specifically messenger RNA. After transcription by RNA polymerase, the mRNA moves from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. In the cytoplasm, the mRNA is translated into proteins by the ribosomes. The tRNA are the ones that bring in the amino acids to form a polypeptide chain.
