Adam Smith was a professor of moral philosophy for several years. Is there any connection between morality and economics? Can there be moral economic system and immoral economic system. Can you suggest examples od economic policies that seem to improve moral habits? what about policies that seem contrary to good moral principles? Please answer quickly!!!!

He is the author of Capitalism and Commerce. Adam Smith (1723-1790), moral philosopher and economist, wrote two great books, the well-known Wealth of Nations (1776) and Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759) which has been overshadowed by his treatise on economics.
