Answer: Obtuse Angle

The angle LJK is larger than 90 degrees, so that's why it is obtuse.

If you want, place segment JK so it is completely flat on the ground or parallel to it. Then draw a vertical line through point J. Mark point M above point J on this vertical line somewhere. Angle MJK is a right angle (90 degrees) and we see that LJK is larger than 90 as it extends past point M.
