If for conversation, talking to a younger person, say that these things humans are taking away and making the environment unhealthy. but if talking to a teen or adult (this coming from a teen) dont be nice with it and just full out talk about the subject, it isn't a really soft subject so it shouldn't be suppressed by softness. All be this is my personal opinion.
