The extensive irrigation cannot add nutrients to the soil and makes it a nutrient rich soil.

The dry farmland which is irrigated extensively will not add nutrients into the soil. When any dry farmland is extensively irrigated then the soil is made productive for sowing the seeds and growing crops.

This cannot add nutrients as it is added to the soil by microorganisms and fertilizers.
