Everything in the Universe originated from a single point. How was it possible for everything in the Universe to have occupied a single point in space?

It is believed that mass and energy are inversely proportional and thus huge mass can come together into a single point if it posses intense amount of energy . Considering this concept the mass of universe can be condensed into a single point.
