Oedipus is anger and very proud.

His anger and pride, makes him kill King Laius. Had he not killed Laius, Thebes would not have been cursed. His anger out on the blind prophet, Tiresias, when he doesn't give him the answers he wants. His pride is insulted when Tiresias suggests Oedipus is to blame. His anger and pride was his destruction.
