Finite means a number value this is measurable. An infinite number value means the number is so large it cannot be measured.

Answer and explanation:

A finite series is the one which is converged to a finite value when the terms are added together. It consists of a certain amount of values (for example: numbers from 1 to 10)

While a set is said to be from an infinite series which diverges to make its sum infinite. Also, it consists of an infinite number of terms in the set.
