Explain why cells don't just continue to grow larger as organisms grow larger. Why do cells divide?

is because this process involves mitosis in the cells. Mitosis is the occurrence of the cell division that is why the organisms grows and this is not influence by the size of a single cell but the number of cell and cell division progression course.
