To find the surface area, calculate the area of each shape and add it together, A pyramid has 1 square and 4 triangles in its net,

Area of square is A=s*s=0.25*0.25=0.0625.

Area of a triangle is A= 1/2 b*h = 1/2 (0.25)(1.2) = 0.15.

There are four equal triangles so together there area is 4*0.15 = 0.60.

Add the square to it and you have the surface area of the pyramid.

0.0625 + 0.60 = 0.6625
