How do you solve the area of parallelogram for b and h?

Answer:

b = A/h

h = A/b

You can't solve for both at once.


Explanation:

Area of parallelogram is base times height. Either side can be the base; the height is length of the segment perpendicular to base intersecting the opposite side.


There are two different b,h pairs both multiplying to same area, unless the sides are all equal, or the angles are all equal, or both.
