Given is a square picture with side length of = 5f-4 inches

Also given is that framing adds 2 inches in the side length of the square picture.

So after framing the side length becomes 5f-4+2 = 5f-2 inches

Perimeter of the square is given as = side*4 or 4s

So perimeter of the framed picture will be given as =

4(5f-2)=20f-8 inches.

or perimeter can be found by adding the side length 4 times

(5f-2)+(5f-2)+(5f-2)+(5f-2)=20f-8 inches

Hence the perimeter is 20f-8 inches.
