The people who experienced the Dust Bowl, or nearly 250,000 people moved to live in California.

The Dust Bowl has been a period of time where a severe dust storm had damaged the agriculture of the American and Canadian prairies/home. Severe drought (meaning: a period of time with low rainfall that lead to a shortage of water). Since the Dust Bowl damages so much of their crops, they had to leave because nothing was left for them to survive on. When there isn’t any food or water source, you will become dehydrated, and starve. Which is why they had left for California.

*Hope this helped!*
