Answer with explanation:

Option A: In any Class, the ratio of boys to girls should be 50:50.

⇒Fraction of girls out of 352 eleventh graders, of whom 173 are girls

=(173)/(352)\\\\=0.4914

= 49.14 %

Number of Boys = 352 - 173

= 179

⇒Fraction of Boys out of 352 eleventh graders, of whom 179 are Boys

=(179)/(352)\\\\=0.5085

= 50.85 %

% of number of Boys to Percent of girls are approximately same.

Correct Option

Option B

=(150)/(511)* 100\\\\=29.35

In a school 29.35% of students can't be boys only. Also, this question is unclear in the sense that, number of sections of students is not given.

Incorrect Option

Option C

In any Class, the ratio of boys to girls should be 50:50.

⇒Fraction of boys out of 523 eleventh graders, of whom 173 are boys

=(173)/(523)\\\\=0.3307

= 33.07%≠50%

Incorrect Option

Option D

=(182)/(376)\\\\=0.4840

=48.40%

Number of section of girls is not given. And in any school , out of 376 girls, 48.40% girls can't be eleventh graders only.

Incorrect Option

Option A: Out of the 352 eleventh graders at the school, 173 of them are girls.
