Soaring flight relies on the pilot finding thermals in the atmosphere that carry the sailplane up. These thermals help with what force while soaring in the Owl?

The answer is; lift

This force applies in the opposite direction as the weight of the owl (also due to gravity). This force is a vector quantity (meaning it has direction and magnitude). The rising thermals apply pressure on the underside of the owl’s wing. This greater pressure (that surpasses that on the overside of the wing) causes the bird to soar up higher in the atmosphere.
