Just because Hawaii was not impacted directly by the actual national disaster, but how do you think the storm affected the people of Hawaii? (hint think of the price of food at the grocery store) Support your answer with quotes and sources.

Even though there was not a direct impact by the storm in the population of Hawaii, it certainly affected the supply of goods to the populated areas of this state. As certain elements of the supply chain, such as the actual producers of goods and the transporters of them did get directly impacted by the storm.

As a result, the supply of goods will diminish, prices will go up. Leading to economic distress in the state for s certain period of time.
