If water had a linear molecular shape, would the molecule be polar or nonpolar? Please explain.

Polar due to the water molecules having a big difference in their electronegativity values. (Hydrogen is way less electronegative than Oxygen and this results in the water molecule gaining a partial charge H=+ & O=-)
