Tropic Movement :

  1. It is dependent on the stimuli Movement.
  2. It's time of action is Slow
  3. It's reason for action is cell division
  4. E.g. "Photo-tropism" and "Geo-tropism"

Nastic Movement :

  1. It is independent of stimuli Movement
  2. It's time of action is Intermediate
  3. It's reason for action is Change in the Turgor Pressure
  4. E.g. "Opening and Closing of Stomata" and "Folding of leaves on touching"
