CIVICS

The Judicial Branch's main role is to determine whether or not legislative or executive action is constitutional.

They do this by hearing cases challenging legislative or executive action and make decisions on the legality.

This makes it so that there is a check on the laws made in the country, which, in theory, makes it so that laws that are made are constitutional.
