There are way more regions than 2 in India. Here are some of the ones I know: Himalayas , Gangetic Plain , Thar Desert , Central Highlands , Deccan Plateau , Eastern Ghats, Western Ghats, Kokan Coast .
These are just some of the ones I know but I think that there are more.
