Is disagreement inevitable in american society answer?

Probably, yes.

The historian and journalist Colin Woodward has posited that the United States is really just a collection of different countries with a variety of histories and shared cultural experiences. As a result of those different lived experiences and different cultural history (French v. Africa v. British v. Spanish v. Indigenous) we can't help but view the world differently.
