Length = 32

Width = 40

Remember ratio of length and width is 4 to 5.

Perimeter of rectangle is given as 144.

i.e 2 (length +width) = 144

or 2 ( 4x + 5x ) = 144

Solving this for x, we get :

or 9x = 144/2

or 9x = 72

or x = 72/9

or x = 8

So dimension of rectangle are :

Length = 4 x = 4*8 = 32

Width = 5x = 5*8 = 40
