With the decline of North's help to rebuild the south, the Democratic party tried to regain control. One huge problem following that circumstance was the rise of the Ku Klux Klan, which is famous for violence and brutality with blacks. By consequence, with the political problems and voting rights, employment, land and credit all being refused for this minority, resulting in huge social problems and huge economic gaps.
